1 tbsp Oil,
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera),
6 – 7 Curry Leaves,
4 Roughly chopped Green Chillies,
2 – 3 tsp sugar Lemon Juice Coriander Leaves,
3/4 cup coarsely ground Roasted Peanuts,
2 boiled and chopped Potatoes,
1 cup Tapioca Sago (Sabudana)


– Wash the sabudana thoroughly and soak them in water in a flat plate for 6 – 7 hrs
– After it has soaked well, add sugar,salt, coriander leaves, coarsely ground roasted peanuts, lemon juice to the bowl containing soaked sabudana.
– Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, saute it and add boiled and chopped potatoes and fry it for a minute
– Turn off the flame and add the sabudana mixture
– Quickly mix all the ingredients. cover the pan with a lid and cook it in low flame for not more than 2 mins.
– The sabudana khichdi is ready to be served hot.
