Raw Banana Fritters | Quick Easy To Make Tea Time Snacks Recipe | Ruchi’s Kitchen

2 raw bananas – boiled and grated,
1/2 cup roasted peanuts, coarsely ground,
1 tbsp roasted fennel seeds, coarsely ground,
1/2 tsp garam masala,
1/2 cup coriander leaves,
juice of half a lemon,
1 tsp ginger chilli paste,
salt to taste,
1 tbsp oil,
1/8 tsp asafoetida,
1 tsp mustard seeds,
few curry leaves,

For batter-
3/4 cup gram flour,
1 tbsp corn flour,
Salt to taste,
Pinch of soda bicarb,
1/4 tsp red chilli powder,
1/4 tsp coriander,
cumin seed powder,
1 tbsp hot oil


For tempering:
– Heat oil in a pan.
– Add the mustard seeds, asafoetida and a few curry leaves.

To make batter:
– In a bowl, add the gram flour, salt to taste, red chilli powder, coriander and cumin seed powder and water. Make a pouring consistency batter.
– Add a tbsp of hot oil and a pinch of soda bicarb and mix well.

To make the fritters:
– Pressure cook the raw bananas and grate them while they are warm into a bowl.
– Add this tempering to the banana.
– Add the ginger chilli paste, turmeric powder, roasted fennel seeds (coarsely ground), coriander and cumin seed powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, fine sev, roasted and coarsely ground peanuts and salt to taste. Then squeeze a few drops of lime and mix all these ingredients into the raw banana well.
– Mash the mixture using your hands and make small balls out of it.
– Dip the balls in the batter and coat well.
– Fry them in hot oil until they turn golden brown in colour.
– The delicious Raw Banana Fritters are ready to be served.
