Ingredients
100 gms Butter
2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
195 gms Refined Flour
¼ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Jeera (Cumin)
2 tbsp Milk
Method
– In a bowl, mix butter and powdered sugar together. Beat this mixture till it becomes creamy.
– Once the butter and sugar cream is done, mix refined flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and jeera to this and mix them well. (Dry roast the jeera)
– Add milk and form a dough out of this mixture.
– Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
– Roll the dough and sprinkle jeera on top. Slightly roll the dough all over again.
– Cut cookies as per your choices.
– Bake these cookies at 160° in a pre heated oven for 20 minutes. (Check post 15 minutes)
– Enjoy these biscuits with a cup of coffee or tea.
