Ingredients
120ml Milk
¼ tsp. Lime Juice
3 Medium Sized Bananas
100 gms. Melted Butter
½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
250 gms. Refined Flour
30 gms. Cocoa Powder
200 gms. Caster Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Baking Soda
50gms. Chocolate Chunks
25gms. Chopped Walnuts
Dark Chocolate Chips
Method
– Add lime juice to milk and keep aside for 10 minutes. In a bowl mash the bananas with a fork and add metled butter, vanilla extract and milk and lime juice mixture. Mix all of it well and keep aside. In a separate bowl, add refined flour, cocoa powder, caster sugar, baking powder and baking soda & mix it well. Once mixed properly add these dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in 2 batches. Use the cut and fold method to mix the two. Then add chocolate chunks and walnuts. Once mixed properly, transfer the batter to a 9-inch loaf pan greased with butter and with a parchment paper at the bottom. Garnish with dark chocolate chips. Bake this in a preheated oven at 180°C for 60 minutes. Once the cake has cooled down to room temperature loosen the sides with a knife and take it out of the tin and remove the parchment paper. Slice the bread with a knife and serve the bread with tea or coffee.
