3 large Potatoes cut into cubes
Oil to fry
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt as required
A few Ginger julliennes
1 medium sized onion sliced
1 tsp Chaat masala
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1-2 slit Green chillies
2 tbsp fresh pomegranate seeds
lemon wedges
garnish Corriander
sprigs garnish


– Heat oil in a pan on moderate flame.
– With the help of tissues dry the potatoes.
– Dust corn flour over the potatoes so as to make it crisp while frying.
– Fry them in hot oil.
– Fry the potatoes on moderate flame till they are cooked and golden brown.
– In a pan, dry roast coriander seeds, and allow them to cool down.
– Crush coriander seeds so as to make powder out of it.
– To the fried potatoes, add green chilli, onion, ginger, chat masala, salt, red chilli powder, pomegranate seeds and lime juice.
– Give it a toss without breaking the potatoes.
– Sprinkle the chaat with crushed coriander seeds powder and pomegranate seeds.
– Garnish it with coriander leaves and lime.
