Ingredients

½ cup Chickpeas (soaked)
2 bunches Spinach leaves
2 Tomatoes (chopped)
1 Onion (chopped)
1½ cups Water (for pressure cooking chickpeas)
As required Water (for boiling & gravy)
1½ tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Bay leaves
2 pieces Cinnamon sticks
2 Cloves
1 tsp Ginger–garlic paste
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1½ tsp Chole masala
1 tsp Coriander–Cumin powder
½ tsp Red chilli powder
1 tbsp Tamarind pulp
As per taste Salt
As required Ginger juliennes
