Ingredients
100 gms. Butter
30 gms. Icing Sugar
½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
130 gms. All Purpose Flour (Maida)
Method
– In a bowl beat butter and icing sugar together until it turns pale in colour.
– Now add vanilla extract and beat it again.
– Add the all purpose flour in 2 batches and bring it together into a soft dough.
– Wrap the dough in a cling wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
– Roll out the dough with a rolling pin as evenly as possible but not too thin.
– Cut out the cookies in any shape as per your choice and place them on a lightly greased cookie sheet one inch apart from each other.
– Refrigerate these for around 10 minutes.
– Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 10-12 minutes.
– Let the cookies cool down to room temperature for around 5-7 minutes.
– Dip in melted dark chocolate and serve with tea or coffee. HAPPY COOKING!
