Ingredients
1 ½ cups or 195gms Maida,
½ cup or 60 gms Custard Powder,
½ tsp Baking Powder,
3/4 cup or 120 gms Powdered Sugar,
½ cup Tutti Frutti,
¼ cup Chopped Cashews,
¼ tsp Pineapple Essence,
½ cup or 110 gms Butter,
5-6 tbsp Milk – as required to bind
Method
– Whisk butter and sugar together.
– Sieve maida, custard powder and baking powder in to the mixture.
– Mix the batter well and add tutti frutti, cashew nuts and pineapple essence.
– Once they are mixed, with the help of milk bring the batter together.
– Divide the dough in two parts and roll them in to logs.
– Cover them in a kling wrap and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
– With a sharp knife, cut it in to half inch rounds.
– Butter your cookie sheet and wipe it with a tissue.
– Place the cookies on the sheet and bake them in preheated oven at 180° for 12 to 15 minutes.
– Allow them to cool down for 10 minutes.
– Delicious Tutti Frutti cookies are ready!
