Ingredients
Chutney:
1/2 cup fresh coconut,
1 tbsp roasted gram,
2-3 green chillies Ginger ( chopped )
Tempering:
1 tbsp oil salt,
1/2 tsp mustard seeds,
5-6 curry leaves,
2 red chillies
Dosa:
1/4 cup urad dal ( soaked ),
1/2 cup ragi flour,
2-3 green chillies,
1 chopped onions,
4-5 curry leaves ( chopped )
Method
– Grind fresh coconut, roasted gram, green chillies, ginger, water in a grinder to make a smooth paste
– Heat some oil in a pan and add salt to the paste
– Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chillies to the hot oil and add it to the coconut paste, mix well everything
– Grind the soaked white lentils to make a smooth paste.
– Add ragi flour, water to the paste and whisk it well.
– Add salt, green chillies, chopped onions, chopped curry leaves and mix everything well
– Cool the tava by sprinkling water and wiping it off with a wet cloth cloth
– Take a portion of the batter and gently spread it circular motions.
– Sprinkle some drops of oil around the dosa and let it cook
– Once the outer rim changes color, flip the dosa and cook it.
– Serve hot the dosa with the chutney!
