Ingredients
1.5 cup Wheat Flour
1.5 tbsp red chilli powder
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1.5 tbsp coriander cumin
seed powder
1/2 tsp asafoetida
Salt
2 tbsp oil
1.5 cup methi leaves (fenugreek leaves chopped)
Method
– Mix wheat flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander cumin seed powder, asafoetida, salt, oil, methi leaves, in a bowl and make dough.
– Add water and knead the dough well to a nice soft dough
– Let it rest for 10 – 15 mins
– Make round balls out of the dough and make triangle shaped paratha using rolling pin on a rolling board
– In a hot pan roast the paratha and cook both the sides for 30 secs
– Apply oil on both the sides of the paratha and cook it till it has brown spots on it
– The paratha is ready to be served hot
