- Turai = Ridged Gourd
- Tulsi = holy basil
- Toor dal = split pigeon peas, also known as arhar or tuvar
- Tinda = apple gourd
- Til = sesame seeds
- Tikka = grilled pieces of meat or paneer (can be served on its own or in a sauce)
- Tel = oil
- Tej patta = Indian bay leaf
- Tandoori = a dish cooked in a tandoor
- Tandoor = a clay oven
- Tadka = tempering, where you add spices to hot oil. Also known as bagar, chhaunk, chhaunka, vagar, vaghar.
