Ingredients

For Dhokli:-
6 tbsp. Wheat flour
A small pinch of Turmeric powder
A small pinch of Asafoetida
A small pinch of Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp. Oil Water

For Shaak:-
1 tsp. Ghee
1 tsp. Carom seeds
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
¼ tsp. Asafoetida
½ cup Brown chickpeas, soaked for
4 hours and pressure cooked
¼ tsp. Turmeric powder
½ tsp. Garam Masala
½ tsp. Chaat Masala
¼ tsp. Red chilli powder
¼ tsp. Black salt
½ tsp. Cumin powder
3-4 Kokums 1½ cup Water
3-4 small cubes of Jaggery Salt to taste
½ tsp. Wheat flour

Method

1. Mix all the Dhokli ingredients together and make a dough. Dab a little water and cover it with a bowl and let it rest.
2. Heat ghee in a pan and add the Shaak ingredients to it.
3. Apply oil to the palms and the steel bowl and make dhoklis as shown.
4. Add the Dhoklis in boiling Chana Shaak and cook for 5-6 minutes on high flame.
5. Add wheat flour to thicken the gravy and cook until water dries out. Paryushan Chana Dhokli Nu Shaak is ready to eat! HAPPY COOKING!!!
