Ingredients

• 3 tsp coconut oil (divided)
• 1 tsp split black gram (urad dal)
• ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds
• 5 Byadgi chillies
• ½ kg okra (cut into large pieces)
• Water as required
• 1–2 tbsp tamarind pulp
• Salt to taste
• ¾ cup grated fresh coconut
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp chopped jaggery

For Tempering:
• 2 tbsp coconut oil
• 1 tsp mustard seeds
• 2 dried red chillies
• 1 sprig curry leaves
