Ingredients

• 250 g Chickpeas (soaked)
• Water (as required)
• Salt (as per taste)
• 1 Potato (peeled & diced)
• 1½ Onions (sliced)
• 2 Green Chillies (chopped)
• 1 bowl Curd

For the Coarse Masala:
• 2½ tsp Coriander Seeds
• 1 tsp Black Peppercorns
• 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
• 1 tsp Carom Seeds
• 2 Big Cardamoms
• 1 tsp Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi)
• 2 tsp Pomegranate Seeds (crushed)

For the Tempering:
• 2 tbsp Ghee
• ½ tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
• 1 Green Chilli (chopped)
• 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

Spice Powders:
• ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
• 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
• ½ tsp Black Salt
• 1 tsp Raw Mango Powder (Amchur)

For Garnishing:
• Ginger Juliennes
• 2 Green Chillies (slit)
• Coriander Leaves (chopped)
