Oats Chila | Quick And Nutritious Recipe | Diet Recipe | Ruchi’s Kitchen

Ingredients

1/2 cup oats, roasted
1/2 cup semolina or rawa
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp hing
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander
1 green chilli chopped
2-3 tbsp curd
1/2 cup grated ash gourd Juice of
half a lime
1/2 cup spinach chopped
1 garlic, grated Few
curry leaves
Salt to taste

Method

– Heat a Tsp of Ghee, add some Mustard seeds, Curry Leaves, Asafoetida, half a cup of Semolina and roast it for two minutes, once its color changes add half a cup of Powdered Oats and roast it for a minute. Remove it in a bowl
– Add two tbsp of Gram flour, dry spices (¼ tsp of red chilly powder, Turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder each) two green chillies finely chopped, one clove of garlic grated, salt to taste, mix these ingredients and add vegetables.
– Add ¼ cup of grated carrots, half a cup of finely chopped spinach, half a cup of grated bottle gourd.
– Add ¼ cup of Yogurt, juice of half a lime, mix these ingredients together and add water as per the requirement to make the batter
– On a pan brush little ghee, Take a little batter and spread on to the pan and cook this on a low flame till the lower side turns golden brown.
– Apply little ghee on to the top and flip it. let it cook. Delicious and Healthy Oats Chila is ready to serve.
