Butterscotch Cake Recipe – How To Make Butterscotch Cake At Home – Egg-less Cake – Bhumika

Ingredients

Ingredients:
450 gms Sugar
170 gms Butter (melted)
200 gms Yogurt
375 gms Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
120 ml Hot Water
For Making Praline
100 gms Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Butter
For Making Sauce
100 gms Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Butter
100 gms Cream

Method

Method:
First, Let’s make the cake for which add Sugar, Butter (Melted) mix it slightly then add Yogurt mix them properly. Once the sugar is melted into other ingredients add Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and add Hot Water as instructed in the video. Mix them properly and pour it into an aluminum pan which is already buttered from inside.
Pour them in two separate pans equally. Now bake the Pan around 180 Degree Celsius in the oven.
Let’s prepare Praline in the meantime, for which heat up the pan add Brown Sugar and scrap the pan to bring the sugar to the center and heat it till it converts to liquid. Now switch off the heat and add Butter to liquid sugar, mix them all.
Now pour the liquid in the pan and let it cool down where it gets hard.
Now for the Butterscotch Sauce, add Brown Sugar to the pan heat up the fame to medium. Let it melt and add Butter & Cream keep mixing till the mixture stop the bubbling completely.
Now use a pestle to crush the praline, take some shards about 8 to 10 and crush the rest of this into a powder.
Now let’s assemble the cake, trimmed the edges of the sponge, add whipped cream, use the angle pallet knife to spread it properly. Now take your butterscotch sauce and spread it as instructed in the video. flatten the top and cover it with other sponge, now cover the whole with the whipped cream including the sides.
Now drizzle with butterscotch sauce as instructed. You can decorate the top as you want, you can use whipping cream in a piping bag with a star nozzle and start making rosettes on the top. Sprinkle some butterscotch bits on the cake and finally decorate the rosettes with shards. Now your Butterscotch cake is ready to be served.
